Why it exists
Searching renewable energy job boards is slow, and many of the best roles never reach them: they sit on employers' own careers pages that nobody thinks to check. Clean Energy Roles goes to those pages instead, every morning, and turns what it finds into one email a week for each kind of job. Nobody pays to appear in it. Roles are ranked only on how well they fit the profile you picked, and no employer can buy a place.
How employers are chosen
The list is renewable energy employers: developers and independent power producers, manufacturers, engineering and service companies, utilities and the funds that invest in them, across every region they hire in. An employer joins when its roles are clean energy work and its job listings can be read reliably. Anyone can suggest one through the contact form, and recruiters on Agency can ask for one directly. Who we watch lists every employer, with what it was listing at the last scan.
How the roles are read
Every morning the sweep reads each employer straight from the source: its own careers board, which runs on systems such as Workday, Greenhouse or SuccessFactors, or its LinkedIn page where that is where it posts its roles. Nothing comes from an aggregator or an agency repost. Each role is then classified by technology, seniority and function, and scored against working profiles built around real jobs. A role reaches a digest only if it clears that profile's bar. Roles that close are taken down after two sweeps in a row stop finding them, so one bad read cannot close a live role.
The public pages are rebuilt from the same overnight data: the jobs by technology and country, the employer pages, where the roles are and the live figures on the home page. What we keep about subscribers, and what we do not, is on the privacy page.
